What to expect:

This short event is designed to be an informal, yet informative introduction to a wide range of key resources and upcoming events for students interested in Medicine & Healthcare-related university subjects at UK and US universities. The event begins with an opportunity for networking over drinks and nibbles, followed by a short presentation delivered by Dr Bogdan and a Q&A session towards the end.

About the speakers

Dr Bogdan Chiva Giurca BMBS is a London-based medical doctor, author of the international best-selling book 'The Unofficial Guide to Getting into Medical School'. Dr Bogdan has tutored over 5,000 students over the past decade with several prestigious awards in recognition for his work related to medical school accessibility and student empowerment. In his other role, Dr Bogdan frequently lectures at Imperial College London, Harvard Global Health Institute as well as being a national adviser on healthcare policy for the UK National Healthcare System.

Teodora Popa, BSc, MSc, PhD is a scientist and lecturer in genetics at UCL in London. She be able to answer any questions related to science-based university subjects such as Neuroscience, Biosciences, Medical Sciences and any other healthcare related degrees.
